The Deputy Governor, Franz Manderson introduced the Assessment Centre Methodology for senior civil servant recruitment.
The purpose of this assessment is to understand an individual's work preferences and values, personality characteristics, life experiences, and work-related behaviors. This assessment is divided into the three sections, Behavioral and Personality Items, Biographical Data Items, Situational Judgment Items.
Also, the Portfolio of the Civil Service develops work related scenarios to test competencies that are required for the position applied for. It has been decided that at least one of these classroom exercises should focus on a human resources issue.
